Translate Yiola:
If you want
to use Yiola, you have to translate it in your language first (if it does not
already exist), because the recipe database saves also the language. To
translate Yiola please go to the language folder and create a copy of the english.txt.
Now rename into the name of your language and open it. The next step is the
hardest, because you have to translate it line by line. Finally it would be
nice if you send me the translation, so that I can include it in the setup
package.
Create own recipes:
To add your
recipes to the database please select “New recipe”. When you are finished,
press „Save“.
„Save“ is
deactivated by default to avoid recipes with the same name or without any. Give
your recipe a title to activate it.
The first icon
can be used to add an image.
Browsing recipes:
The
„Recipe“ panel shows all recipes. Specify the selection by using the criterias
for filtering.
The barcode
icon helps you to manage your next shopping. Clicking on it adds the
ingredients of a recipe automatically to the shopping list. Use also the
calendar function to schedule your next meals.
The watch
list helps you to remember an interesting recipe in case you need one at hand.
Yiola-Community:
The main function
of Yiola is its community. Share recipes with other users and enrich your
database by downloading them.
To share
your recipes with the Yiola-Community select “Upload recipes”.
First Yiola
has to compare your database with the one online to check which recipes are
already published. To do so press the globe (an internet connection is
required). Choose the recipes you want to upload (use rightclick to select
all/none). Confirm the selection with the green check and the recipes will be
uploaded.
To download
new recipes go to „Update database“ and press “Check for new recipes”. Now you
can select the recipes you want to download, then click “Add to database”.
